Dan in all his glory

Although the title of the comic is GANGRENE, the hero’s name is actually Dan Green. And no, before you ask, he’s not named after the Marvel artist of the same name. It just rhymed with Gangrene, OK?!

Anyway, I really wanted to share this picture of Dan getting ready to blast some bad guys. I think it’s a fantastic piece of art by the creative team, who you can find out more about using the links down on the right of this page somewhere.

Well here it is, a taster of what’s to come in GANGRENE #1. This is the first page of the comic and shows the hero, Dan Green, after a particularly unpleasant encounter with some chainsaw-wielding maniacs. Click the image to seen enlarged version.

Our creative team has been working hard on the first issue of GANGRENE. We’re not quite ready to show it off here yet, but in the meantime here’s a mock-up of the front cover of issue 1. As with the rest of the comic, pencils are by Neil Chenier, inks by Travis Stephens, colors by Fran Ros and lettering by Kel Nuttal.
